Even after such a hard strike like the loss of both of our female singers we will not give up! First of all, we would like to thank Carmen: Over a period of 5 years and 3 albums she characterized Coronatus like no other person in the band! To replace her will not be easy, since you don't find such a good singer on every corner. All the best for the future for her and her family! Maybe there will be some kind of co-operation in the future, who knows...nobody knows what is to come...However, we decided to resolutely continue with Coronatus. Of course, we will stick to the concept of two female singers of completely differnt style, since this ever was the very brand of Coronatus and it will be in the future also. In the past, the musical appearance of Coronatus always followed a steady change. Maybe this was at least partly, due to the large number of line up changes the band went through all these years. However, we always managed to write songs sounding somehow „typically Coronatus“. We are sure that we will be able to continue in that manner. We already went on with songwriting. Of course, the next album will take some more time than the former ones. According to the special circumstances this should be understandable. There will be no live gigs in the next months either. At least the pause will take as long as we have a complete line up again.
Of course we will inform you on this page concerning any news. Please check from time to time...
17.05.2010 Carmen - My farewell letter
My dear fans,
I have to announce today that I have left my beloved band Coronatus. This decision has not nearly been easy for me.
As many of you might know, I am mother of a wonderful little daughter. Now the date to leave Coronatus was fixed by my second child, which is supposed to be born in November: Because of my current afflictions caused by the pregnancy - in addition to the non-existence of a second singer at the moment - we consequently had to cancel all further gigs already booked (May and June 2010) and therefore there will foreseeable not be any further Coronatus concerts with me.
Several months I have been trying to get an idea how I can stay a part of Coronatus with two children in the future. Unfortunately, the answer is very disillusioning - at least as long as it is not nearly possible to live from an even quite successful band like Coronatus. I know that up to now some of you had thought that we could earn enough money from the band to make a living. But this is not the case. So the result is, unfortunately, that there will be no place for Coronatus in my life next to family and work, and so eventually I have taken this hard decision.
For fifteen years I have been an e-guitarrist and singer in numerous bands - now for the first time I do not have any band anymore. Five and a half years as singer, co-songwriter and co-manager of Coronatus have come to an end for me. I leave full of gratitude to our record label Massacre Records, as well as all committed concert organisers / bookers and fair music journalists. And ultimately I leave full of gratitude to you, my fans, all the ones who have bought our cds and hereby made a major contribution to the fact that we could record and publish our music on a total of three cds!

12.05.2010 Coronatus ohne Sängerinnen
Leider haben wir eine traurige Nachricht für Euch. Wir müssen alle Konzerte absagen und stehen bis auf weiteres ohne Sängerinnen da.
Lisa Lasch hatte die Band schon im Januar verlassen. Ada Flechtner ist freundlicherweise bis dato für Lisa bei den bisherigen Konzerten eingesprungen.
Unsere Sopranistin Carmen erwartet ihr 2. Kind und es geht ihr in der jetzigen Schwangerschaft gesundheitlich nicht sehr gut.
Auftritte wären für sie und ihr ungeborenes Kind ein Risiko. Nach der Geburt des Kindes möchte sich Carmen ganz ihrer Familie widmen, somit wird auch sie als Frontfrau von Coronatus nicht mehr zur Verfügung stehen.
Ob ,oder wie es weitergeht,wir werden Euch auf jeden Fall über den weiteren Verlauf und über Neuigkeiten informieren. Auch Carmen wird sich in den nächsten Tagen persönlich zu Wort melden.

The studio recordings are now finished an the CD is being pressed.
On 18.12 2009, to publish our new CD "Fabula Magna," we celebrate a release party at the Rock Fabrik, Ludwigsburg. While we do not play live, but there is a lottery and you can buy our new album there. In any case, we are also there and would be pleased to see you! In addition, we are currently shooting a video clip for our new creation!
